The word "drama" is derived from a Greek word meaning "to do". Simply stated, the Dramatic Arts holds all of the magical components needed to bring characters to life in the form of a story. Playwriting, acting, producing, directing, costume, and scene design are the desired main ingredients. By exploring through "play", people of all ages are able to transcend gender, social, religious, and ethnic barriers and experience an intimate glimpse into others' lives and events. Whether one is an active player or listener, the Dramatic Arts is a wonderful tool for bridging the gap and connecting human beings universally.
